The Essential Secrecy

What to say? Whether you agree with WikiLeaks or not, they have done a service by revealing just how often government secrecy is misapplied: Not only just as a matter of habit, but to conceal embarrassing truths and outright malfeasance (small and large).

Take our Mr. Munch in this comic: He doesn't want it known that he's having the taxpayers pay for his personal tobacco. So he adds to that minor crime by committing another: Improperly designating his order as a secret.

Do two wrongs make a right?
